KC Communities for All Ages is working to create a Kansas City region of vibrant communities, building on the strengths and serving the needs of individuals of all ages. The older adult population in the great KC region will double in the next 20 years, and KC Communities for All Ages will ensure that older adults are valued, understood, respected and involved in creating and sustain a high quality of life in their communities.

Community AGEnda's website offers resources to help communities get started, find focus, locate peers, funders, and experts, and discover what's already happening across the country.


Care Connection is now offering a free, online directory dedicated to providing older adults and their caregivers with quality information and resources to maintain independence or provide quality. 

The directory provides 20 service categories including: Home Repair and Maintenance, Home Modification, End of Life/Hospice and Palliative Care, Senior Activities, Respite Care and many more. Service providers include non-profit organizations, for-profit businesses, churches and service organizations.

Everyone wants to stay in their home as they age, and tomorrow's seniors will be no exception. Since 2008, KC Communities for All Ages has been preparing for the needs of Kansas City's coming "age wave." Formerly known as Kansas City 4 Aging in Community, our newly renamed KC Communities for All Ages will help plan and design livable communities for older adults and for people of all ages, supporting the ability for individuals to live in their homes and communities throughout their lifetime, with a full range of options and services to ensure a high quality of life for all.
 

KC Communities for All Ages will provide support to the Kansas City metropolitan region to promote communities that work for a lifetime.
